Just breaking through that initial barrier is the hardest part for sure! For me, keeping a constant stream of public speaking keeps me up to par.

Colin
Glad to hear you are still keeping up the public speaking, although you must have spoken again since your last comment! Look forward to reading about it.
Your site still figures quite high in a google search for public speaking maidenhead. Check out the new Maidenhead site and our new blog.
All the best

Great post! If I may offer another tip that has always worked for me, get online and find videos of the best celebrity speakers or business speakers in action. If they are REALLY good at what they do, you should be able to pick up a handful of tips that you can use in your own endeavors.

Great post! One thing I can share is that: If you feel like you could use some tips on public speaking just be sure to think of solutions, not just problems and you will be on your way to success as a speaker!

Glad it went well. Great idea to have everyone speak a little at the beginning. This reminds everyone in the audience what it's like to be the speaker. You listen to a speaker very differently if you have just had the experience yourself.
